My daughter recently turned six and wanted a Medieval-themed party.  Unusual, I know, but it enabled us to merge her love of horses with the fun of dressing up.  We held the party at a local equestrian center, then contacted Pam for help with the medieval theme. We began brainstorming and WOW...did she come up with great costumes, accessories, props and decorations!  Pam provided a wide assortment of jewel-toned gowns and cone-shaped  "crowns" for our princesses, and for our knights we had an abundance of gear (armor, capes, swords, arm guards--you name it!)  The kids could have spent the entire party dressing up!  Not only did Pam have great party ideas, she really helped pull the party together with backdrops, wall hangings and other medieval decorations.  Everyone was so impressed!  We would recommend Simply Pretend to anyone wanting to simply pretend!!

Simply Pretend is great! I decided at the last minute to have a party for my 1 year old and the Cowboy Trunk made everything so easy. It was a huge hit with my daughter and our playgroup with kids of varying ages. There was so much more included with the trunk than I could have imagined. The dress-up clothes, all the accessories, games, music...it was all there. Pam has thought of everything so you don't have to, including the clothes rack to make it easy and organized when getting the kids dressed at the party.  All the add-ons that are available are a big help too. I used Simply Pretend Dress Up Trunk Rentals for my 5 year olds soccer party.  It was absolutely fantastic! Everything was very clean and well organized. Pam made it very user friendly and the attention to detail was magnificent. The girls giggled and shrieked for joy when they saw everything. They loved getting dressed up and having their picture taken. Our little ladies loved the attention during the tea party and became our little divas when it was time for the fashion show. The Simply Pretend party allowed us to have a fairytale at home experience. We chose a princess/knight party theme since so many of my daughters friends are boys. The little girls faces just lit up when they saw all the dresses and sparkling accessories...they loved all the “bling”.  And the boys transformed into mighty soldiers complete with cape, shield, helmet, breastplate, arm-guard and swords. The little extras like the princess pillow, and princess tray provided in the trunk, help with setting up displays in the kitchen around the cake.

The games and fashion show were a surprise and the kids LOVED walking down the red carpet for a chance in the spot light. The parents really enjoyed the fashion show as well. Goodies bags served to finish off the party perfectly. We chose the fairy bears and swords for the boys. Both were a huge hit!

Doing a party with Simply Pretend allowed the kids loads of fun and gave the grown-ups permission to play pretend as well.

When my 8 year old son said he wanted a "Knight Theme" for his birthday party, I immediately called Simply Pretend because I just knew Pam could help me figure something out. I had rented a Princess trunk earlier in the year for my daughter.  My concern was that the boys would be bored at this age with dress up.  Well, not so!  Pam put together a great trunk for us and the boys had a blast!  She also helped me plan a shield making activity and provided me with a suit of armor for the boys to take their pictures with.  The King’s costume was also very handy because our King  (my husband) took the knights on a walk around the block so they could patrol our kingdom and make sure the baby Princess would be safe.  All of this with our idea of a castle jump house made this birthday a huge success.  The boys all had a great time and even some of them said it was their favorite birthday party ever.  And my son, well, he wants to do it all again next year!    Thanks Pam!

I used “Simply Pretend” recently for my daughter and sons’ joint birthday party.  It was a struggle to come up with a unique theme for a girl turning 4 and a little boy turning 1 but Pam made it all happen!!!  The party was a Prince and Princess party with TONS of dress up clothes for both boys and girls.  All of the kids there (and there were a lot) had a ball!  Pam was extremely professional, well organized and easy to work with.  I would definitely recommend her and Simply Pretend to anyone searching for a no hassle, very cute birthday party!

My 5 year old son, LOVES to play fireman/policeman dress-up. We decided to do a Rescue Hero party complete with costumes. The boys had everything from Super Heroes, Army guys to Astronauts. Of course anything with a cape was a huge hit for the boys. And the girls had darling ballerina, superhero costumes. Simply Pretend's costumes come with all the accessories - it is so well organized - each costume and accessory comes in a garment bag with a picture card inventory. We had the party on Saturday, we were able to pick up the costumes on Friday and return on Monday. It was nice for my son to have a day to think about which costume he wanted to wear. We also got our favors from Simply Pretend - she was great on working on a budget as well as finding favors to go with my theme. Who says little boys don't like to dress-up - my son and his friends loved this party.
